New Clients
We require new clients to schedule a half-hour consultation in order to ask about the facts of the case so that we can give an assessment of immigration options. Without obtaining information, and any necessary documentation, from you we cannot give you a thorough and accurate assessment of your situation.

The Godfread-Brown law office is centrally located in Syracuse, New York to provide immigration law services to all of central New York, including Binghamton, Rochester, Utica, and Watertown. Consultation Fee
The consultation fee is $200 for consultations up to 30 minutes. If we are retained within 48 hours of the consultation, the consultation fee will be applied towards the legal fees.
The Firm requires payment of the consultation fee prior to your telephonic appointment or at your in-person consultation. Payment can be by check, money order or credit card (Visa, MasterCard and Discover) for telephonic consultations. In addition to those forms of payment, we also accept cash for in-person consultations.
Attorney Client RelationshipOur operation of this site is not intended to create, and will not create, an attorney-client relationship between you and the Firm. The formation of an attorney-client relationship requires a consideration of multiple factors including possible conflicts of interest. Submitting a request or information through the form to the right will not create an attorney client relationship. Request Appointment for Initial New Client Consultation
Appointments for initial consultations with new clients are normally available between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays Eastern U.S. time (-5 GMT).
Appointments generally begin on the hour and normally take a half hour or less. If your situation is urgent, please call the Firm directly at 315-825-8600 and we will try to accommodate you.
If you choose to schedule a consultation by submitting this form, we will contact you within one to two business days. Typically, initial consultations are scheduled for the immediately following Tuesday or Thursday.
